Militaristic weight loss programs. Low calorie food and diet plans. Miracle slimming supplements. If life was a fashion runway, staying fit would be the new black. Penny Holbrook invites others to be in vogue with “Go on, Lose it!!”, a groundbreaking fitness guide for people who want to feel more confident about the way they look without sacrificing the quality of their life.
The holy grail of fitness manuals and weight loss guides, “Go on, Lose it!!” promotes fitness and teaches sensible and effective weight loss techniques. It features the innovative and highly-successful “Changing Shape” eating programme. Originally designed to help people who suffered from eating disorders and who were overweight, the “Changing Shape” approach is now available to anyone who wants to follow a healthy, balanced and enjoyable diet and lifestyle. It uses the distinctive concept of integrating counseling support, exercise and a weight loss programme that is tailored to suit the unique needs of each client. In the book, readers will find out the three key phases of the programme which is aimed towards improving one’s eating habits while losing weight at the same time.
From meal-planning to weight loss to self-image improvement, “Go on, Lose it!!” is holistic in its approach to achieving fitness. In sharing the purpose behind her work, Holbrook reveals, “I feel that everyone has the right to look good and the Changing Shape concept has been devised not only to change body size but also to change appearance, body image and one’s whole outlook. Doing that is almost certain to boost self-esteem and who doesn’t want that?”
