Lex Products has expanded its EverGrip® line of cylindrical power cable assemblies for military applications to include the new EverGrip 20 Amp Molded MIL-DTL-5015 Cable Extension, the EverGrip 20 Amp Molded MIL-DTL-5015 GFCI Quad Box Cable Assembly and the EverGrip 20 Amp Molded MIL-DTL-5015 GFCI Quad Stringer.
The new EverGrip MIL-DTL-5015 cable assemblies join Lex Products’ existing EverGrip military offerings, including the EverGrip Molded MIL-DTL-22992 Class L Molded Cable Extensions and Tie-ins, which are available in 60 and 100 Amp ratings.
The new MIL-DTL-5015 cable assemblies were designed by Lex Products, a North American leader in portable power distribution systems for the military, to distribute power from portable distribution boxes in tents and shelters to power lights, computers and light tools in expeditionary environments.

EverGrip MIL-DTL-5015 Cable Assemblies: Features & Benefits:
All of the new MIL-DTL-5015 cable assemblies are Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) products and feature Lex Products’ EverGrip two-part molding construction, which provides a mechanical bond between the cable and the connector and encapsulates conductors completely for superior strain relief and secure terminations. An oil-resistant thermoplastic elastomer overmold absorbs impact to protect internal parts and provides an insulated and secure gripping surface for easier mating and safe handling. EverGrip connectors’ molded and ergonomic gripping surface enables safe, comfortable handling with bare hands - unlike wire mesh grips, which can become worn and abrasive. Connectors feature arrows to indicate the correct alignment for mating. Connector covers are attached with corrosion-resistant stainless steel chains and hardware to deliver environmental sealing when connectors are not mated.
EverGrip 20 Amp MIL-DTL-5015 Molded Cable Extension: This cable assembly is available in a range of lengths and features a molded flexible strain relief to help extend cable life. The two-part molding construction bonds the cable to the connector to provide enhanced strain relief and secure terminations.
EverGrip 20 Amp Molded MIL-DTL-5015 GFCI Quad Box Cable Assembly: The molded thermoplastic elastomer portable box is exceptionally durable and resistant to harsh chemicals. The receptacle covers are rated NEMA 3R Weather Resistant and are UL Listed for wet locations.
EverGrip 20 Amp Molded MIL-DTL-5015 GFCI Quad Stringer: A 20 Amp, 120 VAC GFCI duplex receptacle provides feed-thru protection to five additional duplex receptacles. Nylon box straps enable cable assembly to be hung easily.
