MacLaren was a leading sales representative at both New Iron Media, a faith-based media startup designing and selling custom marketing programs for nonprofit organizations, and Salem Web Network where she was responsible for managing and directing account growth. She specializes in mobile marketing strategies and digital advertising for nonprofit, family entertainment, and education clients.

In addition to her advertising experience, MacLaren has been instrumental in forging strong relationships between digital agencies and clients with brands such as Disney and Universal Studios. She graduated from Grove City College with a degree in Marketing Management.
