“We are honored that Dr. Üstün will be on the broadcast,” ICD10monitor Publisher and Executive Producer Chuck Buck said. “Dr. Üstün was a guest on our live broadcast during last year’s national conference of the American Health Information Management Association meeting in Salt Lake City, Utah, and we found him to be a remarkable individual with keen insight on ICD-10 and ICD-11.”
Buck said that Dr. Üstün would be calling in live from Geneva, Switzerland. Also on the Tuesday broadcast will be Kerry Johnson, a senior lecturer and HIM instructional coordinator who serves on the Health Sciences faculty at the University of Ontario’s Institute of Technology. Johnson will discuss how Canadians implemented ICD-10.
Buck noted that for the last two broadcasts, Talk-Ten-Tuesday has focused on the international implementation of ICD-10, adding that previous international guests included Sue Eve-Jones from the United Kingdom and Alfred Papallo from Australia. Both called in live from their respective countries.
