The three surviving members of The Monkees made an announcement of their upcoming 2012 Reunion Tour. The big announcement came six months after their lead singer Davy Jones died of a sudden heart attack on February 28th at the age of 66.
Micky Dolenz, Peter Tork and Michael Nesmith are the three surviving Monkees. They will begin their tour to a dozen cities on November 8th and it will culminate at the Beacon Theatre in NYC on December 2nd. Michael Nesmith made the announcement rather nonchelantly on his blog by saying "And Micky and Peter and I are going to do twelve concerts in November here in the States. That's really all I've got. Going to bed now."
The Monkees Reunion Tour begins with four concerts in California and then the guys head out to the Midwest and hit Minneapolis, Chicago, Cleveland then east to Buffalo, Philadelphia, New Jersey and the tour finishes with two gigs in New York.

November 15 - State Theatre in Minneapolis
November 16 - The Chicago Theatre in Chicago
November 17 - Lakewood Civic Auditorium in Cleveland
November 18 - The Center for the Arts in Buffalo NY
November 29 - Keswick Theatre - Philadelphia
November 30 - State Theatre Regional Arts Center in New Brunswick NJ
December 1 - The Paramount in Huntington NY
December 2 - The Beacon Theatre in New York City
