Healthcare workers don’t typically sit in front of a computer all day, reading emails or browsing the intranet, so communications channels need to adapt
Goleta, CA (PRWEB) August 28, 2012
SnapComms announced today that it has extended its innovative health worker communication system to mobile devices. The current suite of health worker communication channels includes:
Interactive screensaver messaging which allow healthcare communicators to publish visual communications to workstations as well as large screens or monitors in communal areas such as cafeterias, break rooms, locker rooms, or conference facilities.
Desktop-wallpaper-messaging which allow administrators to publish messages to computer wallpaper backgrounds.
Pop-Up Quizzes and Surveys which allow doctors, nurses and other healthcare workers to offer ideas and suggestions to improve patient care (and HCAHPS scores).
Mass notification tools which permit delivery of targeted messaging including; images, branding, text, video and rsvp invites.
And an innovative electronic magazine that allows healthcare workers to upload and share their own stories and images quickly and easily.
The extension to mobile devices includes the mass notification channels as well as quizzes, surveys and the newsletter format.
SnapComms will be demonstrating the mobile employee communications solution at Tech Crunch Disrupt on the 10th September.
