Avectra executives to address advanced social CRM and member engagement

The event runs August 11-14, 2012, at the Dallas Convention Center, Dallas.

In the session "Playing the Numbers: What Does Scoring Member Engagement Really Tell Us?" on Tuesday, August 14, at 9 a.m., Avectra product and community manager Ben Martin will be joined by clients and longtime association community managers Nina Goldman, Director, Sales and Member Organization Services at American Council of Engineering Companies, and Thomas Nordby, AVP Business Operations, National Defense Industrial Association. The group will demonstrate how and why associations should begin objectively measuring membership engagement. Those in attendance will learn how to identify and stimulate under-engaged members using current AMS data.

Avectra VP of Marketing Patrick Dorsey will address the topic "Advanced Social CRM: Avoid Social Data Silos" on Tuesday, August 14, at 10:45 a.m. Joined by Avectra client David DeLorenzo, CTO, National League of Cities, Dorsey will share effective practices for storing and using social data about members to maximize ROI. Associations have begun tracking social media information about members: Twitter handles, Facebook addresses, and LinkedIn profiles. Many associations know how they want to use such revealing data, yet few understand how to effectively manage the process.
