http://www.testedandproven.com DDL, leader in medical device package, product and material testing, recently launched an new website designed to give medical device manufactures the resources needed to bring their medical devices to market and to successfully navigate through the regulatory hurdles of product and package development.

DDL worked with local vendor, Spyder Trap, on designing a website that was more user friendly and also offered a myriad of resources for medical device manufacturers including features such as:

"Our goal was to build a more useful site that would offer our customers a chance to learn more about the testing industry through a number of different learning platforms and resources such as videos, white papers and our newest feature, PackAdvice," Lyndsey Danberry, Marketing Manager, said. "We were also looking for ways to increase customer satisfaction and communication which is why we also developed a customer portal."

The newly designed customer portal features a secure log in for DDL clients to track the status of their project from the receipt date of their shipment to the issue date of the final report. It also gives customers contact information for their assigned project manager as well as a list of previous projects completed by DDL.

"The purpose of the portal was to offer another communication tool to our customers," DDL President, Patrick Nolan, said. "Our team understands our customers' need for instant information; we believe that this access will augment our existing commitment to excellent customer service."

Features such as "PackAdvice", "Ask the Engineer" and "The Knowledge Center" are all resources developed to help users learn more about the testing industry and the services DDL offers.

"This redesigned site will continually provide fresh information and expertise for our current and prospective customers," Danberry said.

Industry leaders can also look to DDL's new site for upcoming industry events such as MD&M Shows , IQPC Conferences and DDL seminars and workshops.

"We are deeply involved in these industry events and often engage in speaking opportunities that offer insight into industry trends," Pat Nolan, President of DDL, said. "We make an effort to know what's going on in the industry so we can better consult with our clients."

DDL's technical experts have been consulting with clients on ISO 11607 validation and other FDA requirements for over 22 years. DDL's expertise in distribution simulation and other sterile barrier validations has helped us build a web site that is huge resource for our clients.

DDL not only publishes resources for the package testing industry, however, they have also expanded their knowledge and capacity in the product and materials testing industry, which is also reflected in this new website.

"We've found that our website is a great vehicle to educate our customers and that packaging engineers appreciate the product and materials testing services that we provide as these services also help them better understand their packaging materials and the products that they protect. The redesigned website gives us the opportunity to educate our customers even more," Mark Francis, Product & Materials Lab Manager, said.
