The designation is presented through a joint venture between the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) and the American Institute of Certified Accountants (AICPA), the world’s largest organizations for CPA’s and Management Accountants, respectively. The mission of the CGMA is to promote the value of management accounting and recognize its importance for businesses worldwide.
