Air Wisconsin Airlines Corporation today announced it has promoted Joanne Grishaber to the position of Director of Revenue Accounting and Treasury Operations, reporting directly to Vice President of Finance and Controller, Stan Petersen-Gauthier. In her new role, Grishaber will be responsible for all daily cash and investment activities as well as managing the accounting, invoicing and reconciling of revenue and all other accounts receivable activity.
“Joanne is a proven accounting veteran and leader with more than 20 years’ experience with Air Wisconsin’s finance and risk management departments. I am confident that she will be a great asset to our department’s leadership team” noted Petersen-Gauthier. “I look forward to her contributions in this important function of our company.”
Grishaber joined Air Wisconsin in 1990 as a staff accountant after earning a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where she majored in accounting.
Most recently, she served four years as Manager of Risk Analysis and Business Continuity – having co-led the implementation and continued oversight of the business continuity program for the company. She also had involvement in the placement and ongoing coordination of Air Wisconsin’s insurance programs. Prior to that, she held various positions in the finance department, including Manager of General Accounting and Project Manager.
Air Wisconsin, the largest independently held regional airline in the United States, operates as US Airways Express, scheduling nearly 500 departures per day to 70 cities in 26 states and two Canadian provinces. The fleet includes 71 Canadair Regional Jets (CRJ-200). Additionally, Air Wisconsin performs ground-handling services for United Express at United’s Washington Dulles International hub and 22 other cities throughout the country.
