New York, NY (PRWEB) August 14, 2012
New York Knick point guard Iman Shumpert is enjoying the best of both worlds as a NBA standout and one of hip hop's new upcoming rappers. In recent years, several NBA players have attempted to impact the music business. In 1994 Shaquille O' Neal released his platinum debut album "Shaq Diesel", which was followed by attempts from NBA stars including Allen Iverson, Kobe Bryant and most recent Los Angeles Lakers star Metta World Peace. In the summer of 2012, Iman Shumpert has earned the attention of true hip hop fans as possibly the most talented NBA rapper since Shaquille O' Neal. In his most recent release titled "Crowned" Shump collaborated with Chicago native Phlyy B and Blakglobe Music artist Bizz The Prince. Since the single leaked it has received thousands of downloads and three to five star ratings on internet host sites.
It is also rumored Iman and Bizz The Prince are in the studio working on a follow up record for Bizz’s upcoming street album "Live From The Black Carpet.” Bizz The Prince stated, “My brother Corey Stokes (former Villanova star) called me and said Iman was doing an interview with Dime Magazine. When the New York Knick superstar was asked the question who does he have in his iPod, Shump replied Bizz The Prince (over Lil Wayne, Kanye West, Jay-Z, etc). Corey connected the dots and the record came out crazy”. This is Bizz most recent release since “Prince of Jersey” 2.0 and Iman is showing signs he's not a one hit wonder in his follow up single "For the Win" featuring Billionz and Maino.
