“We wanted to celebrate the Space Needle's 50th Anniversary by replicating our city’s greatest landmark."
Redmond, WA (PRWEB) August 14, 2012
Eitech America, headquartered in Redmond, Washington, announced the latest edition to the company’s 2012 construction toy line, the Deluxe Space Needle® Construction Set licensed by the Space Needle.
“After designing and engineering replicas of the famous Eiffel Tower and London Tower Bridge, we wanted to create one of our favorite US landmarks. We decided on the Space Needle because of it's innovative design and engineering. Plus, Seattle is home for us,” said Bobby King, Eitech America’s President.
“We wanted to celebrate the Space Needle's 50th Anniversary by replicating our city’s greatest landmark in a new and unique way,” he continued.
The Deluxe Space Needle® Construction Set is an accurate representation of the famous Seattle Space Needle. Unlike other Space Needle play sets on the market, the Eitech set will stand 2-feet tall and will include over 740 interconnecting high quality steel pieces.
Builders will have millions of other constructions made possible by the creative framework of interconnecting parts. Like all Eitech sets, tools and a booklet of instructions will come included for easy assembly.
Eitech will also be offering a smaller, more desk-appropriate version of the Space Needle® Construction Set for less ambitious builders or beginners.
Eitech will introduce the set into the US market by late September.
Featuring fully functioning replicas of machines, structures, and bridges, Eitech construction sets teach children valuable engineering and design skills. Eitech toys are manufactured and engineered in Germany and made exclusively by Eitech, the leading European steel construction and building set manufacturer.
