DWM International, parent company of Society Awards, Mode Design Group and Ambition Beverages, has named Aaron Bearce as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of the Group effective August 20, 2012. As CFO, Mr. Bearce’s responsibilities will include treasury, financial reporting, financial planning and analysis, financial operations, tax and investor relations. In addition, he will play an integral role in plotting the strategic direction of existing businesses and new growth initiatives at DWM International.
Mr. Bearce, 36, brings significant financial experience with particular emphasis on retail and consumer companies, a focus area for DWM International. Over the last several years, he has worked as Associate Director & Global Consumer/Retail Analyst for Barclays Capital and Moore Capital Management. In these roles, Bearce was responsible for making targeted investments in publicly traded companies spanning the global retail, apparel and consumer sectors. Prior to this, he was employed as Vice President & Senior Analyst at Prudential Equity Group.
Mr. Bearce received an MBA from Georgetown University and a B.S. from Boston College.
