CounterTrade Contract with Colorado League of Charter Schools Extended

CounterTrade Products to Serve as Preferred I.T. Vendor for Colorado Charter Schools through 2013

CounterTrade Products, Inc. announces the extension of its status as a preferred Information Technology Group Purchasing Partner of the Colorado League of Charter Schools. The partnership, which was set to expire in September, will now be extended 16 months with an expiration date of January 2014.

CounterTrade was initially awarded the League’s IT group purchasing contract in 2010 following a rigorous selection process. CounterTrade was chosen to provide a complete line of quality technology products and related services at cost-effective pricing that address the League’s procurement goals, focusing primarily on the company’s ability to simplify and consolidate the procurement process for charter schools across the state.
During its partnership with the Colorado League of Charter Schools, CounterTrade has provided Information Technology products and services to more than 30 charter schools in the state.

About the Colorado League of Charter School
The Colorado League of Charter Schools is a non-profit, membership organization dedicated to supporting the charter schools in the state. The League is committed to helping these schools reach higher levels of student performance and overall success by providing information and resources, including technical support, advocacy, public relations assistance, and much more. On average, more than 95 percent of Colorado charter schools choose to be members of the Colorado League of Charter Schools. Membership with the League is voluntary and open to all charter schools in Colorado. In 2012-13, it is projected that there will be nearly 190 charter school campuses in Colorado serving more than 80,000 students. This represents nearly 11 percent of total K-12 public school enrollment in the state.
