Verifications, Inc. has been approved for accreditation by the Background Screening Credentialing Council of the National Association of Professional Background Screeners (NAPBS). Of the 417 background screening companies that are NAPBS members, only 25 are accredited.

Achieving accreditation required submitting materials for a desk audit and meeting the requirements of 58 standards in six categories - 1) Data Information and Security, 2) Legal and Compliance, 3) Client Education, 4) Researcher and Data Standards, 5) Verification Service Standards, and 6) Business Practices. Following a successful desk audit, an onsite audit was conducted by a third-party auditor.
