2020 Women on Boards has announced the formation of 2020 Women on Boards/New York Chapter to oversee the management of the 2020 Women on Boards campaign in the Greater New York City area. It's one of several local campaigns being formed across the US to expand the organization's mission: to increase the percentage of women on US company boards by 20% or more by 2020.
2020 Women on Boards/New York Chapter has formed a steering committee co-chaired by Christiane Neumayer, Director of Business Development at WJM Associates and Susan P. Serota, Executive Compensation & Benefits Leader and Partner, Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP. The New York Chapter is coordinating the local 12/12/12 luncheons, part of a national conversation on the need for gender diversity on corporate boards through luncheons being held in cities across the US.
