Seasoned industry veterans, Mr. Pueschel and Ms. St. Martin, will be responsible for building out Bluerock’s sales and distribution efforts in their regions, and for supporting Registered Representatives and Financial Advisors with regular research and training on Bluerock’s array of product offerings.
The hires represent the next phase in a decisive expansion of Bluerock’s wholesaling capabilities. The company brought its Broker Dealer function in-house late in 2010 with the purchase of Bluerock Capital Markets as part of a program to strengthen its sales support nationwide. In conjunction, the company plans to increase its regional coverage from five regions to eight and will continue to grow the sales staff in the coming months.
Mr. Pueschel joins with nearly two decades of successful experience as a wholesaler in the real estate investment trust (REIT), private funds, notes, 1031 exchange property, hedge fund and ‘40 act alternative investment sectors. He will work with Financial Advisors in Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Delaware, and Washington DC.
Before joining Bluerock, Mr. Pueschel served as a Regional Vice President for Cole Real Estate Investments, Allianz, Smith Barney and Salomon Brothers. He was also a Regional Vice President and consistent top producer at Old Mutual Investment Partners.
Ms. St. Martin joins with more than 14 years’ experience in financial sales. She will work with Financial Advisors in the Atlantic South Region, including: Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Mississippi, North Carolina, Tennessee, South Carolina, and Virginia.
Prior to Bluerock, Ms. St. Martin served as a Regional Vice President with Prudential Financial and as a Sales Consultant for MassMutual Financial Group. Her financial career also includes three years as an independent financial advisor, enabling her to understand not only the advisor’s perspective and requirements.
