In addition to his private orthopaedic surgery practice, Dr. Longobardi is Chairman of Orthopedics at Holy Name Medical Center, and team physician/consultant for Bergen Catholic High School and Berkeley College. He earned his medical degree at New York University School of Medicine and completed both his general surgery internship and orthopaedic surgery residency at New York University Medical Center. Dr. Longobardi completed a Sports Medicine Fellowship at the Knoxville Orthopaedic Clinic at the University of Tennessee. He has since been a team physician and consultant for numerous professional sports teams, including the 2003 World Series Champions Florida Marlins, US Tennis Association, NY/NJ Metro Stars Soccer and NY Islanders Hockey Team. In addition, he is currently a team physician for Bergen Catholic H.S. and Berkeley College, as well as consults on various collegiate and professional athletes.
