LogiXML, the pioneer of web-based business intelligence (BI) software, today announced that the company’s sales grew 70 percent year-over-year in its fiscal second quarter ending June 30. Business from new customers accounted for approximately 73 percent of total sales, and new customer acquisition grew 112 percent year over year. LogiXML’s embedded BI business was especially strong with multiple competitive wins against traditional and open source BI vendors.
“Much of LogiXML’s growth is driven by an increasing number of companies seeking to embed interactive data analytics, dashboard and reporting into their applications,” said Brett Jackson, CEO, LogiXML. “LogiXML’s technology is able to meet the demand for embedded BI much faster and far less-expensively than traditional BI systems or open source alternatives. We are proud to have added a number of new embedded BI customers in the quarter and Informatica Corporation is one such example.”
According to Mike Lock, research director at Aberdeen Group, “speed of adoption and ease of deployment are the major benefits derived from embedded BI. Additional benefits included ability to tailor analytical functionality, cultural and process improvements and adding value to existing software investments.”
In 2011 and in 2012, LogiXML was positioned in the Gartner Magic Quadrant for Business Intelligence Platforms, where its products scored among the highest for ease of use, overall product functionality, support, product quality, performance, and customer experience.
Founded in 2000, LogiXML provides businesses the fastest and easiest way to deliver business analytics, dashboards, and reports to a broad range of users, as well as to embed them into existing applications – all for a fraction of the cost of other solutions. Unlike traditional Business Intelligence platforms that are complex and costly, LogiXML’s agile technology allows organizations to rapidly develop, deploy, and adapt BI applications that serve any number of users on any platform ─ all without extensive development or professional services. LogiXML is headquartered in McLean, Virginia. The company is a private, venture-backed firm with investments from GroTech Ventures, Updata Partners, and Summit Partners.
