Tampa, FL (PRWEB) August 15, 2012
Michelle Phillips, author of the bestselling book The Beauty Blueprint (Hay House Publishing), has been selected to be the Head of Makeup and Image for this year’s Republican National Convention, to be held August 27-30 in Tampa, Florida. Phillips was chosen for her expertise in coaching women to look their personal best as an image consultant and her career in broadcast journalism.
“My job is to ensure that the viewer’s focus is on the message rather than distractions in personal image such as makeup, hair and wardrobe. When the audience is distracted by hair, makeup or clothing, the focus is not on the message. It is my job to make sure the speakers have a polished image and are perceived as knowledgeable, credible and trustworthy,” Phillips says.
The Republican National Convention hopes to attract as many as 40,000 visitors, and symbolizes a kickoff ceremony for raising enthusiasm for Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan, this year’s Republican presidential and vice presidential candidates.
“It is an honor to be chosen for this prestigious role during a history making event. Working as the head of Makeup and Image for the Republican National Convention means that I will play an important role with the speakers in their effort to make a powerful and positive impact on potential voters,” Phillips explains.
