American Pearl introduces its premier line of Tahitian pearl and diamond station necklaces

American Pearl introduces its premier line of Tahitian pearl and diamond station necklaces, inspired by the popular “diamonds in the yard” chain design. These high-fashion pieces feature naturally colored, perfectly round Tahitian pearls, or Keshi pearls, a type of baroque Tahitian pearl. Boasting a multicolored magnificence not found anywhere else in nature, Tahitian pearls exhibit an inherent black base hue with stunning green, gray, aubergine and rose highlights. When paired with the wearer's choice of gemstones – such as rubies, pink, white or blue sapphires, emeralds or aquamarine – the even spacing of pearls and gems along the station necklace creates shimmers of complementary colors along the wearer's neckline.

"The pearls, colored stones and gold chain are a powerful triumvirate in jewelry fashion that create an aesthetic that is unmatched by any other gem and precious metal combination,” says American Pearl of its new design. Commissioners of this piece can choose lengths ranging from 16-inch chokers to 36- inch, double-length opera necklaces.
