With Access UDP, we will eliminate a manual scanning and indexing process, improve our workflow and get clinical and business output directly into our content management system. We want to completely remove paper, and UDP will help.

Galway Clinic is committed to becoming a paperless facility, and has already converted many paper documents into electronic records. However, administrators realized that there is some paper output from clinical and business systems that requires scanning and manual indexing.

To overcome this challenge, CIO Raphael Jaffrezic selected the Universal Document Portal (UDP) from Access, the world’s leading provider of electronic forms (e-forms) management solutions.

Access UDP will capture output from various clinical and business systems – including practice management documentation, surgical reports, and data from Meditech Magic – and convert it into a standard format, sending it directly into Galway Clinic’s Meditech Scanning and Archiving (SCA) module.

“With Access UDP, we will eliminate a manual scanning and indexing process, improve our workflow and get clinical and business output directly into our content management system,” Jaffrezic said. “We want to completely remove paper, and UDP will help us get closer to reaching this goal.”
