About Brian’s Hope
Inspired by their son, Brian Kelley, the Kelley Family of Branford formed Brian’s Hope, a charitable foundation whose mission is “Stopping the progression of adrenoleukodystrophy (ALD).” Brian’s Hope believes that education, newborn screening, early intervention, (including administration of Lorenzo’s Oil), and medical research can eventually drastically limit the number of children who will suffer from the devastating neurological disease of ALD, a progressive disorder that results from myelin degeneration.
