The opportunities are present for new construction projects in Central Florida and Allied Steel forecasts a 20 percent increase in local business over the next year.
Orlando, Florida (PRWEB) August 15, 2012
The Central Florida division of Allied Steel Buildings reports a significant increase in local business recently and they are not alone. Data analysis from two separate research firms, MetroStudy and Charles Wayne Consulting Inc. concludes that new home construction in the Orlando area reported the strongest second quarter since 2008. In addition, the Orlando Regional Realtor Association (ORRA) released reports from July 2012 that show the median price of existing homes sold in the Orlando area have increased more than 15 percent since the beginning of 2012. Nationally, commercial real estate for the second quarter remained quiet, but in Central Florida it seems to be on an upswing.
Allied Steel’s new expansion is happening at the right time, especially with these positive economic signs. The Central Florida operation opened in July of 2007. Ben Meister, Allied Steel Buildings Vice President said, “Central Florida provided growth opportunity for Allied Steel into large markets for residential, equestrian, agricultural and commercial buildings.” As the economy declined in what is widely known as “The Great Recession” the Florida market suffered. Allied Steel Buildings stayed afloat by focusing on national and international sales and service of their pre-engineered steel buildings. For the Orlando branch, a priority has returned to serving Central Florida and providing turnkey building solutions.
The opportunities are present for new construction projects in Central Florida and Allied Steel forecasts a 20 percent increase in local business over the next year. Meister noted, “We are looking forward to the convenience the expansion will add for our customers.” The new facility features consulting and design space where their clients can discuss building details and features up to the minute stats on local and national business. Meister said, “Our expansion will allow for in-house design of projects from commercial to equestrian, while providing additional space for Project Managers to service this clientele. In an industry where customer service sets you apart, we focus on assisting our clients from concept to completion, by providing the best service possible and this expansion will only better our efforts.”
