With Football season around the corner, the teams and coaches aren’t the only ones getting back into the game. Retired players like Marcus Allen, Tim Brown, clients of sports management agency Fritz Martin Management, are staying active with the college and pro football scenes.

Marcus Allen, retired running back for the Los Angeles Raiders, will be re-joining Kevin Frasier as co-host to Fox College Football Halftime show. This is the 2nd year Allen and Frasier will work together on the college circuit.

Allen was also recently featured on EA Sports NCAA 13, alongside retired wide receiver Tim Brown. The two spent the day at ESPN Headquarters in Bristol, CT promoting NCAA 13 where you can play select Heisman Trophy winners on any team. Marcus and Tim spent the day contesting how each would play on the others respective team (Allen insisted Brown would be 3rd string at USC while Brown argued Allen wouldn't even get into Notre Dame).

For those who can’t get enough of Allen and Brown, the pair will also be featured alongside fellow Heisman recipients in Nissan's 2012 Heisman House. ESPN will air a series of comical spots highlighting Nissan's fleet of select vehicles this fall throughout the College Football season.

Marcus Allen and Tim Brown’s agent, Jamie Fritz of FritzMartin Management, says that ongoing career opportunities for retired players like Allen and Brown are plentiful, but players need to be aware of them and willing to market themselves after retirement. “For talented and iconic players like Tim Brown and Marcus Allen, retirement from the game can be just the beginning of a lucrative and long-lasting career,” said Fritz. “This is where an experienced sports agent comes into play; we’re able to connect these guys with the opportunities they’ve worked so hard to earn.”
