Sarasota-based property and casualty insurer FCCI Insurance Group (FCCI) has hired Kent Skidmore as vice president of underwriting in its Southeast Region. Skidmore’s hiring follows a series of hires to support expansion in the region.
Skidmore comes to FCCI with more than 20 years of experience working with major commercial insurance carriers in the Southeast. Prior to joining FCCI, he served as vice president of CNA's Birmingham branch and spent several years in CNA’s Atlanta office. Skidmore also held positions in Charlotte, N.C., including vice president/producer for Willis North America and business sales manager for Liberty Mutual. He began his career in claims and production underwriting for AIG.
