"We're proud to bring Movies in the Park to Madera. This will be a fun event for our local and regional families.

The Parks & Community Services (PCS) Department is hosting an outdoor screening of the popular film Puss and Boots on Friday, August 24 at 7:30 pm.

"We're proud to bring Movies in the Park to Madera," said Mary Anne Seay with the PCS department. "This will be a fun event for our local and regional families."

The kick-off event will be held in the amphitheater at Lions Town and Country Park on Howard Road.

The Movie Puss in Boots is a newer major animated motion picture and features voice-work by Antonio Banderas, Salma Hayek, Zach Galifianakis and Billy Bob Thorton.

Admission to the movie is free to the public thanks to a sponsorship by Kingsiew - Ready, Set, Go program of the local Workforce Development Office. Concessions will be available for purchase.
