From September, Intrinsa patches will be removed from sale.
London, UK (PRWEB UK) 17 August 2012
euroClinix, the leading international online healthcare provider, has announced that from September, Intrinsa patches will be removed from sale. This is in response to an announcement made by the European Medicines Agency (EMA), that the marketing authorisation holder Warner Chilcott UK Ltd had voluntarily withdrawn this authorisation. They have stated that this is due to commercial reasons. Intrinsa patches remain a clinically proven, safe and effective treatment for female sexual dysfunction (FSD) that is experienced by women who have had a hysterectomy. However, this decision means the treatment will no longer be available to buy online at euroClinix. This will come into effect in September 2012.
For the rest of August, any woman who wishes to complete a consultation for female sexual dysfunction will still be able to do so. Intrinsa patches will also still be available in this time for women who are currently using the treatment method. However, it is still the case that the libido enhancing testosterone patch is designed to help treat female sexual disorder only in women who have had a hysterectomy. It is not suitable for women who are experiencing low libido but have not had a hysterectomy.
euroClinix is an international healthcare provider, offering comprehensive medical services, that enable you to use a completely secure ordering process that includes a free online consultation, offering a range of treatments for a variety of health conditions and lifestyle problems. Despite, the fact that female sexual dysfunction will no longer be available come September, an expansive range of other treatments for women including various hormonal contraceptives and medications for cystitis, hair removal and period delay will still be available.
