Persona is all about the ease of maintaining a single identity while keeping user information highly secure and private. The mission of two companies aligns when it comes to improving online identity management, protecting user privacy, and data security
Edmonton, AB, Canada (PRWEB) August 21, 2012
Canadian startup LoginRadius, which offers social infrastructure to web sites, closed a partnership deal with Mozilla Corporation on their identity project Persona. Both companies are working to streamline online identity management and reduce the hassle of managing multiple online identities not only for users but also for the website owners. With this partnership, LoginRadius becomes an official Persona partner by offering Persona to its customers.
LoginRadius has integrated Persona on its SaaS (Software as a Service) as well as on its website http://www.loginradius.com. Persona has also been built into all of LoginRadius’ add-ons: 6 CMS plugins for Drupal, WordPress, Joomla, osCommerce, PrestaShop, and DotNetNuke, as well as 6 SDKs for PHP, .NET, Java, Python, Ruby on Rails, and Classic ASP. LoginRadius will integrate Persona in its future add-ons as well.
Talking about Persona integration, Rakesh Soni, co-founder of LoginRadius said: “Persona is all about the ease of maintaining a single identity while keeping user information highly secure and private. The mission of both companies aligns when it comes to improving online identity management, protecting user privacy, and enhancing data security. I am sure that our current customers would love to get Persona on their sites.”
Dan Callahan, Senior Software Engineer at Mozilla said, "The LoginRadius team is responsive and committed to supporting a wide range of platforms and programming languages. We're excited to see Persona amongst their login offerings, giving their integrating partners a new, simple way to authenticate users and limit password proliferation on the web."
When asked about the future of online identity management, Deepak Gupta, co-founder of LoginRadius responded: “Based on the explosive growth rate of LoginRadius’s userbase that we’ve seen so far, I see the internet moving towards centralizing online identities in the next few years. In fact, I wouldn’t be surprised if forms were soon to become an archaic part of the registration process as more and more users discover the ease of managing their online profiles from one location. With this Persona integration, we are moving one step closer towards hassle-free login.”
While LoginRadius is mostly focused on offering login through social ID providers, the non-social media concept behind Persona gives users an additional option for online identity management. LoginRadius is the first Social Login provider with such a wide range of options and features for end-users and continuously strives towards its mission of making it easier for users to manage their online identities.
LoginRadius is a social infrastructure provider that boosts user engagement, increases user base, and helps with online identity management through its five products: Social Login, User Profile Data, Social Analytics, Social Sharing, and Single Sign-on. These innovative solutions eliminate the need for traditional registration forms and login systems and allow users to log in with their existing accounts on popular networks such as Facebook, Twitter, Google, and over 20 more!
Soni and Gupta founded the company in mid-2011 and launched the product in October 2011 in private beta phase. Since then, LoginRadius has grown to over 18,000 customers worldwide and gained the Alexa Global Traffic rank of 30,000. It is also a Canada’s Top 100 Startups by TechVibes – a leading Canadian technology news website. It is also a Microsoft BizSpark Startup.
