CONCORD, NH (PRWEB) August 23, 2012
The Concord City Auditorium has been the home of the Capital City’s community based arts and entertainment since 1904. “The Audi,” as it is affectionately called, is a historic 850-seat theatre that hosts over 100 events attended by over 75,000 people each season. The recently renovated theatre is owned by the City of Concord, NH and operated by an all-volunteer partnership of City Departments, and Auditorium users (producers, performers, and audience) working together to restore this historic theatre and to foster its use for the benefit of all citizens of the community. Together these volunteers are known as “The Friends of The Audi” (http://www.theaudi.org).

This year’s event is Sunday, September 23rd and features an Arts Fair and Party starting at 6 PM followed by the variety show at 7 PM. The Arts Fair and Party will be held outside of the theatre, under the tents, and will feature exhibits from area arts groups along with ice cream provided by Arnie’s Ice Cream.
