"This isn’t about grabbing big names. It is about connecting the community with people and businesses that really care.”

August 14, 2012 the staff of GoGreen.org announced an open call to all green living, sustainable and Eco-Friendly businesses. The response so far has been amazing and responses are still rolling in. With that in mind the content management staff went a step further and today, August 16, announces the continued expansion to include green living product reviews, service reviews and regular question and answer sessions on their YouTube channel.

The announcement was made by content manager and green living consultant Megan Coogle during the evening content meeting. She discussed the steps of the expansion and how the reviews would be carried out.

“If a company has a service or product they would like reviewed they may contact us and send a sample of their product. We will make a full-length video that will include an unboxing or an overview of the product or service. The reviews will be 100% honest and cover the good and bad points of the product. Product and service reviews are the backbone to customer relations. We are cultivating a community between ourselves, consumers and the products they may not be aware of. YouTube is the perfect spot for that cultivation.”

The product and service reviews will appear on a regular basis. It seems the end goal for this overall open call and YouTube expansion is for GoGreen to find appropriate and real Eco-Friendly companies and forge new partnerships. Overall, this plan has worked and shows great promise for the site and for the content management team. When asked what kind of products, companies and services the team is interested in bringing in through the open call, Ms. Coogle had the following to say. “Ideally we want companies that are Eco-friendly, sustainable and green orientated. This could be health, beauty, clothing, green training institutions, cleaning and even building supplies. Within this goal we also want to reach out and grab the small at home businesses that people may not know about. This isn’t about grabbing big names. It is about connecting the community with people and businesses that really care.”
