Piracle announced today the launch of a new program aimed at supporting an educational fund for children of fallen combat veterans. For existing software customers who have not purchased Piracle supplies, the program would donate a recurring 5% of their supply sales to the Special Operations Warrior Foundation. The Special Operations Warrior Foundation (SOWF) is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to provide a college education to every child who has lost a parent while serving in Army, Navy, Air Force and Marine Corps Special Operations during an operational or training mission.
“We think it’s important to support veterans and their families not just in the way we talk but how we act as a company,” said Piracle CEO John Bechard. “We have several veterans who work for us, and this is another way to honor them. This program is about creating opportunities for the sons and daughters of veterans who sacrificed their lives in service to their country. We’re honored to be a part of that.”
The SOWF began in 1980, following the Iranian hostage rescue attempt, to provide college educations for the 17 children who survived the nine men killed or incapacitated at Desert One.
“As a former Marine and a veteran, this program is something that’s very special to me,” said Piracle Supply Representative Carson Honeycutt. “I’m proud to work for a company who believes in meeting the needs of veterans’ families.”
Since 1991, Piracle has strived to combine security, dependability, and sustainability with our line of “Total Solution” payment management products. The creator of the popular Create-A-Check, Portfolio Debt Manager (PDM), and Secure Printing Service (SPS), Piracle is one of the world’s leading providers of secure payment solutions.
