TENCon 2012 conference kicks off in Nashville

The conference provides an opportunity to showcase Applied Systems software at work and how our customers are leveraging the technology to improve their business.

TENCon 2012 – the flagship conference for insurance professionals who use Applied Systems software – opened today at the Gaylord Opryland hotel and resort in Nashville, Tenn. Under the theme “The Power of Partnership,” Applied Systems Client Network (ASCnet) and Applied Systems partnered together for the first time to host jointly more than 1,600 attendees, who gathered to explore new methods for transforming their organizations through the usage of Applied Systems software.

Terry Bradshaw, Hall of Fame football legend and Fox Sports analyst, will present the featured keynote address for TENCon 2012. Bradshaw’s keynote entitled "Why Not Your Best?" explores what makes people and organizations successful despite relentless competition, change and adversity. Additional keynote sessions will be presented by Applied Systems Chief Executive Officer Reid French and ASCnet Chair Maureen Boeing.

According to Reid French, “TENCon 2012 unites our broad base of customers and partners from the United States, Canada, United Kingdom and the Caribbean. The conference provides an opportunity to showcase Applied Systems software at work and how our customers are leveraging the technology to improve their businesses and reshape the future of our industry. Given the market momentum of Applied Systems as well as our expanded partnership with ASCnet, we are thrilled to have experienced a 50% increase in attendance at TENCon 2012 when compared to last year’s event.”

Maureen Boeing, ASCnet chair added, “We are extremely pleased with the increased value we provide ASCnet members and other Applied Systems users through ongoing educational and advocacy programs. We are grateful to our board, our members, our volunteers and staff, and especially Applied Systems for making these programs possible, resulting in continued growth in both TENCon and ASCnet membership.”

TENCon 2012 provides more than 150 educational sessions, hands-on product workshops, and an expanded partner exhibition with more than 70 industry partners, all designed to maximize the value of the annual conference experience for Applied Systems customers.
