Applied Systems continues to focus on innovations in TAM, delivering advanced capabilities to enable agents and brokers to automate business operations.
University Park, IL (PRWEB) August 22, 2012
August 22, 2012 – Insurance software company Applied Systems today announced that Nov. 2, 2012 is the general release date for TAM® 12, the newest version of the most widely used agency and broker management software in the insurance industry.
Applied Systems said TAM 12 will deliver enhanced capabilities for writing insurance policies in the commercial middle market including the addition of Canadian commercial lines and reverse alerts. The company explained that TAM 12 enables agents and brokers to implement standard workflows and communications interfaces that streamline planning and tracking for middle-market businesses.
TAM 12 will also support the new Canadian eDoc XML standard from the Insurance Brokers Association of Ontario, allowing for electronic documents to be transmitted in broker downloads, yielding broker cost efficiencies and improving customer service and retention. In addition, it will provide a new French user interface, help files and translation capabilities.
“Applied Systems continues to focus on innovations in TAM, delivering advanced capabilities to enable agents and brokers to automate business operations,” said Applied Systems CEO Reid French. “From the first prospect policy quote through the insurance lifecycle, TAM allows agents and brokers a complete view of their books of business, enabling them to streamline operations, increase productivity and enhance customer satisfaction.”
French pointed out that more agents and brokers communicate through TAM with carriers than through any other agency management software, ensuring ease of doing business and timely, accurate policy information. He added that TAMOnline, the hosted version of TAM, delivers additional benefits: eliminating the need and cost for agents and brokers to manage hardware, IT and security-related issues. TAMOnline also provides increased access and flexibility to more effectively manage client and policy information, French said.
