Green, OH (PRWEB) August 17, 2012
AutoShop Express, an Ohio-based distributor of auto dealer supplies, reported record sales for July.
“We’re coming off a banner month for all of our products across the board,” company President Paul Brown said.
Aside from the company’s strong Internet marketing strategy, the auto dealer supplies executive credited the bulk of AutoShop Express’ summer success to an increase in travel across the United States.
“The growing demand for auto dealer supplies, like oil change stickers, Versa key tags and more, is a direct result of an increase in business at independent and dealership repair shops,” Brown said. “And that increased business is tied quite clearly to a definite rise in domestic travel.”
That rise was around 5% for the Independence Day holiday, according to reports from the American Automobile Association. July’s holiday travel represents the highest volume of Independence Day travel in a decade, the AAA release said.
Reuters also reported increased travel across the U.S. and projected the rise would continue into the third quarter.
Despite the greater demand for auto dealer supplies, repair shop managers don’t have to worry about product shortages or increased delivery times. “Our sources have assured us of a steady flow of product, and we’re more than prepared to handle any additional increases in business,” Brown said.
If customer satisfaction ratings are any indication, the record business levels aren’t hurting the Ohio-based company. AutoShop Express, in fact, enjoys a 99.7% online approval rating. Even last month, at the peak of business, customers in particular commented on the company’s fast delivery times and quick shipping, Brown said.
“Increased sales are always great,” he said. “But they don’t mean much if we can’t continue providing the great auto dealer supplies and service our customers expect.”
Ohio-based AutoShop Express specializes in Versa key tags, oil change stickers, paper floor mats and other auto dealer supplies.
