Freedom’s Soul – The New Album:
Freedom’s Soul is easily one of today’s most dynamic and powerful musical works which includes a culmination of musical genres steeped in history, inspiring messages and originality. Freedom’s Soul takes you there! Inspired by coded field songs this body of work is undoubtedly the direct descendant of the Negro Spirituals. You will certainly be moved by this delicate fusion of Spirituals, Folk, Jazz, Funk, Soul, Blues, Gospel, Spoken Work, and Hip Hop.“

Blanchard describes the lyrical content simply as “Truth”. His genius is in the inherent relevance of his message while maintaining the voice of the common man. Blanchard is heavily influenced by Memphis artists who preceded him such as Earth, Wind, and Fire; The Bar Kays, Isaac Hayes, W. C. Handy, etc.
