Portland, Ore. (PRWEB) August 20, 2012
Axium, a leading developer of accounting and project management software for engineering and architecture firms, received a Small Business of the Year Award from the Portland Business Journal on July 26th.
“I was so excited to let team Axium know that we received this award,” said Cathy Mills, President. “Everyone works so hard and it’s great to be recognized for that.”
The Small Business Awards were presented to businesses with 51-100 employees that have achieved exceptional levels of growth in sales, community engagement, and commitment to staff training during challenging economic times. Over 160 nominations were received and analyzed extensively by the Portland Business Journal.
"We have had an amazing year,” said Mills.
While increasing its revenue by 52.9 percent between 2009 and 2011, Axium has also established a partnership with The Oregon Food Bank and was listed as one of Oregon Business Magazine’s top 100 companies to work for in Oregon for the 4th year in a row.
"We really couldn't be happier with our growth and team," says Mills. "We are more than pleased to have received this award."
