Jordan has stated that 10% of the money generated from the sales of his unique t-shirts will go to a homeless charity
(PRWEB UK) 18 August 2012
The business, which will be named ‘Stranded Apparel’ in reference to Jordan’s plight to raise awareness of the challenges faced by homeless people, encapsulates the youngster’s fiery entrepreneurial spirit – a trait that top t-shirt retailer 8 Ball believes could give the t shirt printing industry a boost and simultaneously raise awareness of key social issues.
The idea was born from Jordan’s social studies A level project, for which he had to undertake extensive research into the reasons for homelessness in the UK by visiting major cities such as London, Leicester and Liverpool.
Jordan has stated that 10% of the money generated from the sales of his unique t-shirts will go to a homeless charity of his choice.
A representative from 8 Ball expresses his support for Jordan’s new venture.
“We think Jordan’s idea is fantastic and fully support his mission to use t-shirt designs as a means to communicate a much wider problem,” he says. “Jordan has recognised the fact that t shirt prints can be used to promote an idea or concept.”
Jordan has stated that Stranded Apparel is due to launch today and his tees will be available for purchase through his website and Facebook page.
