“Zentech has a long legacy of supporting the U.S. military’s armed forces - on land, in the air and at sea – and the military’s confidence in Zentech is reflected in these long-term agreements." Matt Turpin - President, Zentech Manufacturing, Inc.
Baltimore, MD (PRWEB) August 20, 2012
The ARDEC award closely follows a similar five-year BPA award issued to Zentech Manufacturing, Inc. in May by the Naval Surface Warfare Center for sophisticated naval electronics manufacturing.
As the only electronics contract manufacturer in the region holding certifications to the stringent aerospace AS 9100 specification, IPC Class 3 certification for mission critical electronics manufacturing and the Defense Logistics Agency Joint Certification Program Certification DD2345 for militarily sensitive technical data package manufacturing , Zentech continues to be the go-to provider of critical mission electronics manufacturing services to the military.
Matt Turpin (President - Zentech) comments, “Zentech has a long legacy of supporting the U.S. military’s armed forces - on land, in the air and at sea – and the military’s confidence in Zentech is reflected in these long-term agreements. We are proud of both our contribution and our performance. We stand ready to continue our support of the U.S. military, with both capital investment in advanced processing systems to support advanced technology manufacturing and focused commitment to deliver superior quality radar and munitions related systems on accelerated build schedules”.
The ARDEC agreement is broad in scope, and also includes electro-mechanical assembly requirements of advanced electronics in support of Ft. Dix in New Jersey, Benet Laboratory in New York, Adelphi Laboratory in Maryland and Rock Island in Illinois.
ARDEC is the Research and Development center for armaments used by the U.S. Army, Special Operations Command, and other military organizations. ARDEC’s purpose is to provide battlefield supremacy for U.S. troops through overmatch capabilities. Designated as the benchmark for the Army in technology transfer, ARDEC has had approximately 75 percent of its technology projects transition from research into funded customer development.
