New Entertainment Amphitheatre Opens at Weathervane Winery

Weathervane Winery in Lexington, North Carolina, announced that it has opened its new entertainment amphitheater for free entertainment on Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights throughout the summer for guests of all ages.

Weathervane Winery, Lexington's premier local vintner, recently announced that they are now offering free summer entertainment every Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights at their new entertainment amphitheater. Although entertainment is still available on the patio, the new amphitheater was built to offer guests a larger venue to hear live music while enjoying award-winning wine.

"People need to reconnect," said Sid Proctor, owner of Weathervane Winery. "This is a new venue for local entertainment to bring people together for good music, dancing and to make new friends."

The Weathervane Winery Amphitheater will feature Lyn Koonce & Friends from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Friday nights throughout the summer. Lyn and her band perform upbeat original songs and popular hits with an energy that has fans of all ages tapping their feet. Saturday nights present Mark Tuttle of Boogie Nights DJ, who uses his mobile DJ service to get everyone dancing. He plays a wide variety of music, from Top 40 and Country to Pop and Line Dancing. Guests can enjoy Mark's music from 7:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. A third performer at the new amphitheater is Maria Augustine, the original OD (Ocean Drive) DJ, who will be performing on Sundays.
