Catskill Mountains, New York (PRWEB) August 29, 2012
A weekly radio program about real estate in the Catskill Mountains will soon mark its second anniversary. Timberland Times, broadcasting every Thursday afternoon on WIOX 91.3 FM and streaming at http://www.wioxradio.org, is hosted by Eric Wedemeyer and Ray Pucci of Coldwell Banker Timberland Properties.
“We introduce our audience to the wide variety of people who are shaping the future of the Catskills and the value of our local real estate,” said Wedemeyer, President and Principal Broker of Coldwell Banker Timberland Properties. Guests have included a local college president, business owners, elected officials, and regional economic development officials. “One of our most interesting guests was Shifu Shi Yan Ming, the leader of the USA Shaolin Temple that was recently opened in the area,” added Wedemeyer.
Topics outside the immediate Catskill Mountain region are also often discussed. “Since so many factors affect our local real estate market, we talk about national fiscal policy, the problems with the Euro, and even the price of corn,” said Pucci, an associate broker with Coldwell Banker Timberland Properties. “We take these rather divergent topics and help our listeners see the inter-connectedness of real estate markets.”
Timberland Times is a charter program of WIOX, a community radio station based in the Delaware County community of Roxbury. The all-volunteer FCC licensed Class A station broadcasts daily at 91.3 FM as well as through an Internet streaming service.
