We know our film kicks butt, and we’re very happy to know AOF thinks so too.” His costar Allison Wood, who has three films playing this year’s AOF, said “I am thrilled and excited that Enemy of the Mind, my first co- starring feature, is an Official Selection for the Action on Film International Film Festival. I am lucky enough to be in a total of three films at the festival this year, and I am looking forward to meeting the other great film makers and watching their hard work on the big screen.”
Enemy of the Mind is the feature film debut of Brandon Stephens. After success with shorts, he and co-writer Manny Rey penned the crime thriller. With a talented cast of actors and on a shoe- string budget, Brandon co-wrote, co-produced, directed, photographed, edited and sound designed the feature film in less than a year. “When we first started Enemy, I remember thinking, OK; I’ve done 3 shorts and now all of the sudden I think I can pull off this feature? To then have it win an award at WorldFest and be picked for selection at AOF is just tremendous. I can’t thank them enough,” he said.
