ESC has seen an increase in executive job acquisitions throughout their affiliated offices year-to-date, when compared to 2011.
Houston, TX (PRWEB) August 21, 2012
Executive Zoom, a nationally recognized web-based recruiting firm and ESC, a team of national and regionally based online executive search consultants have reported year-to-date results for executive-level job placement. Executive Zoom has seen a decline in traditional recruiting placements. The number of recruiting firms nation-wide has greatly diminished over the past few years. Recruiters still have a viable place in the job market however, as they provide employers with highly qualified talent, based on industry specific/job function searches.
On the other hand ESC has seen an increase in executive job acquisitions throughout their affiliated offices year-to-date, when compared to 2011. Speaking with ESC’s Kansas City area office, the executive team said that the number of senior level job seekers reporting that they landed a job through the second quarter of 2012 is up by 14% over last year’s total numbers, “a promising outlook.”
ESC says that successful executive transitions are based primarily on, “The development of a pro-active search strategy that includes, building a resume based on accomplishments, rather than industry; targeting multiple industries; a willingness to look at a wider range of alternative job functions; and developing the ability to interview in unfamiliar industry settings by first researching industries, and then specific companies.”
ESC noted that the executives who achieved success in their survey did not include the workforce at large, but rather those who had assistance in their search. “Traditional executive searches are very costly as they can take many months. Those who receive professional assistance outside of the traditional methods, tend to land jobs faster, potentially saving tens of thousands of dollars in lost salary.”
