Baltimore, MD (PRWEB) August 20, 2012
National Aquarium announced today a ticket allowing guests to visit the Baltimore venue as many times as they like for seven consecutive days to encourage visitation to the downtown Baltimore area during the weeks surrounding the Grand Prix of Baltimore presented by SRT. Guests visiting between Monday, August 27, and Monday, September 3, can purchase the special ticket and visit the National Aquarium as many times as they like for seven consecutive days beginning with their first admission.
“We want to take this opportunity to do our part by encouraging visitors to enjoy all downtown Baltimore has to offer during the Grand Prix,” said Steven Schindler, VP/CMO of National Aquarium. “There is so much to see at the National Aquarium and the Inner Harbor and with this special National Aquarium 7-day ticket, our guests will have the opportunity to leisurely explore it all.”
The seven-day ticket offer is available to purchase online at aqua.org or onsite at the National Aquarium, Baltimore. All tickets issued for August 27 through September 3 will be valid for seven full days. No special promotion code or coupon is required. Tickets are non-transferable and guests will need to present identification for re-entry. Access may be limited depending on availability.
Grand Prix of Baltimore ticket holders can enjoy the additional benefit of accelerated entry by presenting their valid Grand Prix of Baltimore entry (e.g., pass, hand stamp, wristband) and a valid National Aquarium entry ticket between Friday, August 31, and Sunday, September 2. Accelerated entry enables these ticket holders to bypass the general admission line. Entry is subject to timed and maximum building capacity restrictions.
“We want people to know that Baltimore and the Inner Harbor is open for business during the Grand Prix,” said Tim Mayer, general manager of the Baltimore Grand Prix for Andretti Sports Marketing. “My family has visited the National Aquarium many times, and it’s another great reason for families all across the Mid-Atlantic to spend the Labor Day weekend with us in Baltimore.”
To further encourage downtown visitors, the Grand Prix of Baltimore presented by SRT will offer 10% off all adult race tickets (except Andretti Club and car corral) with purchase of a National Aquarium ticket through Sunday, September 2. National Aquarium tickets can be purchased at aqua.org. Customers will receive a promotional code from the Aquarium that can be redeemed online via Ticketmaster by entering the code on the “Promotions and Special Offers” tab as well as via phone at 800-745-3000 or at any Grand Prix of Baltimore box office location. Code must be presented to redeem discount. For tickets and event information, visit the official event website at RaceOnBaltimore.com.
