ProtoShare users can now use the hundreds of free, open-source, web-optimized fonts provided by Google Web Fonts to build higher fidelity, interactive prototypes even faster. Easy, sharable typography helps users prototype and communicate creative ideas while offering realistic browser experiences in their prototypes.

Site9, Inc., developer of ProtoShare, the first tool to bring fast, interactive and collaborative prototyping to teams, today announced that ProtoShare now supports Google Web Fonts. This gives designers the flexibility to use a wide range of designer fonts that have “true-to-browser” rendering and compatibility with popular search engines. With Google Web Fonts, ProtoShare enables users with little or no coding knowledge to quickly and easily create high-fidelity, interactive elements in their prototypes.

“One of the top things our customers like about ProtoShare is that it is fast – you can quickly create interactive prototypes at either low or high fidelity, and the faster you can iterate, the faster you can finish a project,” said Andrew Mottaz, founder, president and CTO of Site9/ProtoShare. “The addition of support for Google Web Fonts in ProtoShare eliminates the need for tools like Adobe® PhotoShop® to incorporate custom typography in your prototype. This makes the prototyping process even faster.”

The addition of support for Google Web Fonts comes on the heels of last month’s announcement of ProtoShare 6.3 and the availability of a new community resource library of drag-and-drop stencils and widgets. All of these new features are designed to support what ProtoShare does best: enabling any user, not just those with programming skills, to create fast, interactive prototypes.
