Cherry Logistics Adds Former Jewel-Osco Executive to Business Development and Consultancy Team

National facilities maintenance firm Cherry Logistics today announced the hiring of Keith Nielsen as senior business development consultant. Nielsen has most recently served as Jewel-Osco’s president of operations.

Nielsen began his career at a Chicago Jewel-Osco as a clerk and finished it as the company’s president of operations, overseeing approximately 182 stores and 30,000 associates. Along the way, he served in every facet of the business, including merchandising and distribution. His knowledge of retail store operations will be leveraged to help the Cherry Logistics team grow business, add accounts and develop new services, which include HVAC and interior, landscape installation and maintenance, lighting services, parking lot maintenance, snow removal and transportation.

Nielsen attended Lane Tech High School, studied business at the University of Illinois and executive management at Cornell University and the University of Southern California.
