Tiferet Launches A Global Community of Writers

Share Article

Tiferet is a global community of writers. Functioning as a magazine/resource, Tiferet brings together some of the world’s most talented literary minds to foster creativity and awareness.

Tiferet Journal, which started in 2004, is a print and online magazine functioning as a resource for writers of all genres. The community offers writing contests, a poetry corner, workshops, BlogTalk Radio interviews with well-known authors, and many other resources for its members. Another of the magazine’s purposes is to function as a “multi-faith publication, representing a variety of religious traditions as different paths up the same mountain.”

One of Tiferet’s recent BlogTalk Radio interviews was with the talented and enigmatic Chitra Banerjee Divakaruni. One Amazing Thing, Divakaruni’s most recent novel, is based around the idea of religious tradition, transformation, and storytelling itself as a holy cornerstone of life. “Our community wants to function as a singular pulse within the literary community,” says publisher Donna Baier Stein. “We have member blogs, a newsletter, and we offer support with both our writing and spiritual or ethical journeys.”

Tiferet’s community allows writers to socialize with other accomplished authors, such as Divakaruni and Stein, on an intimate and empowering level. The affordable membership caters to both readers and writers. A one-year subscription is $19.99. Payment options include all major credit cards or PayPal. Further membership options can be explored by clicking here: http://tiferetjournal.com/the-journal/. Gratis copies are available to qualified members of the press.

About: Tiferet promotes writing and literature, religious tolerance and increased consciousness for individuals and the world. Its publications include works from internationally known writers and winners of the Pulitzer Prize, Guggenheim, and NEA fellowships.
