“The Garmin G1000 authorization is extremely important to Valair Aviation because it enables us to provide our customers with the newest cutting edge options when upgrading their avionic systems,” said Brian Reid, Valair vice president of business development. “Valair Aviation is pleased to offer the G1000 system to our existing and new customers.”

The G1000 integrated package provides all primary flight, navigation, weather, terrain, traffic, radio frequency, engine and fuel readouts on high-definition Liquid Crystal Displays (LCD).

The G1000 installation includes a central 15” Multi-Function Display (MFD), flanked by 10.4” primary flight displays, which provide pilots with a vastly improved visual reference over legacy systems. This system improves safety, and reduces pilot fatigue. A weight savings of over 300lbs is an added benefit for customers that are searching for improved aircraft endurance.

The G1000 system includes the GFC 700 3-axis Auto Pilot, a fully digital, dual channel, fail passive Automatic Flight Control (AFCS), capable of maintaining airspeed references and designed for optimum performance.
