Despite the challenging economic climate of these past few years, MorganFranklin remained true to our core values and we were able to thrive. This recognition is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our employees and leadership team.
McLean, VA (PRWEB) August 22, 2012
For the second time in its 14-year history, MorganFranklin Corporation has been named to the Inc. 500|5000 list of the nation's fastest-growing private companies. Inc. magazine ranked MorganFranklin as No. 3,288 on the sixth annual Inc. 500|5000, an exclusive ranking that represents the most comprehensive look at the most important segment of the economy—America’s independent entrepreneurs. MorganFranklin, a business and technology consulting firm that delivers financial management, performance improvement, and national security solutions to industry and government clients, joins the rarified company of enterprises that have appeared on the list multiple times, many of which have grown to become national icons.
“MorganFranklin is proud to be named to the prestigious Inc. 500|5000 list, and we are honored to be ranked in the same company as some of the country’s most successful and innovative businesses,” said Robert Morgan, CEO and co-founder of MorganFranklin. “Despite the challenging economic climate of these past few years, MorganFranklin remained true to our core values and we were able to thrive. This recognition is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our employees and leadership team, and we share this achievement with all those who have helped us fulfill our promise of ‘Surpassing Expectations’ and remaining committed to continuous improvement.”
The 2012 Inc. 500|5000 was ranked according to percentage revenue growth when comparing 2008 to 2011. MorganFranklin experienced significant revenue growth of more than 60 percent between 2008 and 2011, and saw its number of employees grow nearly 74 percent. The company, which is headquartered in McLean, Va., and has offices in Chicago and London, previously made the list in 2007.
The achievement places MorganFranklin among an elite group of companies including Unified Payments, which topped this year’s Inc. 500|5000 list, as well as Yelp, yogurt maker Chobani, GiftCards.com, KIND, and famed hatmaker Tilly’s, among other prominent brands.
The median growth rate of 2012 Inc. 500|5000 companies remained at an impressive 97 percent. The companies featured on this year’s list reported having created more than 400,000 jobs in the past three years, and aggregate revenue among the honorees reached $299 billion.
"Now more than ever, we depend on Inc. 500|5000 companies to spur innovation, provide jobs, and drive the economy forward. Growth companies, not large corporations, are where the action is,” said Inc. magazine Editor Eric Schurenberg.
Honorees will be celebrated at the 31st annual Inc. 500|5000 Conference & Awards Ceremony, which is being held Oct. 3-5, 2012, at the JW Marriott Desert Ridge Resort & Spa in Phoenix, Ariz.
