From the moment of birth, children are supposed to be showered with love by their parents. But due to circumstances, some will be left wanting the very thing that they are deprived of—love. Author Sherry L. Hulett reaches out to them and says It's Gonna Be Ok in an endearing picture book that will strike a chord in anyone’s heart.
Hulett shares, “My hope is that this book will add comfort and encouragement to all who read it. May you be enlightened as well by these words.”
This heartrending, riveting collection of poems and letters captures the expressions of love and longings from foster, adopted children and their parents. With eye-opening Biblical verses and moving personal insights, It's Gonna Be Ok was written to help others understand the feelings of those that are often left neglected. The author has included some personal letters and poems that add more poignancy to this book.
A wonderful tribute to foster or adopted children and their parents everywhere, It's Gonna Be Ok will show readers the plight of these often unwanted children and the rewards of opening their hearts to them.
